The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism has recently received certificates from the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) in Hospitality Management and Tourism Management programs.
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, led by Associate Professor Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, represented the university president in presenting certificates along with flower bouquets to the heads of two departments, for successfully meeting the quality standards of the AUN-QA assessment, conducted by the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). The two departments awarded were the Hospitality Management and Tourism Management programs.
The ceremony took place at the ASTRA meeting room on the 4th floor of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism building at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus. The AUN Quality Assurance is a quality assessment framework used across ASEAN countries to elevate the standards of education in the region. It aims to improve the quality of education in Thai universities to be internationally recognized.
This achievement signifies the dedication of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, in continuously developing the quality of their programs and producing high-quality graduates who can compete on a global stage. Receiving recognition from the ASEAN University Network for meeting AUN-QA standards is a significant milestone for the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism.
