Miss Manatsanan Babis (Rose), a student in the Hospitality Management program, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, has brought pride to her faculty by winning the 1st Runner-Up Award in the Outstanding CWIE Student category Social Sciences and Humanities at the Lower Southern CWIE Network Competition 2026.
Her award-winning project, "Products & Services Database", was developed during her hands-on internship at BIC EVENT Alpha Office, Phuket. The project was presented to the judging panel on April 9, 2026, at Parichat Auditorium, Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus, competing alongside participants from 8 higher education institutions in the network. The competition featured four categories: Science and Technology, Social Sciences and Humanities, Innovation, and International programs— providing a platform for students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills gained through real-world work experience.
This achievement reflects the student's ability to bridge classroom learning with practical application, exemplifying the qualities of a graduate ready to meet the demands of today's workforce.
